The father of seven-year-old Nurul Emielda Nadia Sallehuddin, the girl who fell to her death from the third floor of a shopping mall yesterday, said he accepted his daughter's death.

"I accept what has happened and everything has been made clear in the newspapers. Please respect my feelings," he said when met at the waiting room of the University Malaya Medical Center's forensic division here Sunday.

Nurul Emielda Nadia's body was then brought to the surau at the medical centre for prayers before it was taken to the Puncak Alam Muslim cemetery for burial.

Police confirmed the girl died of injuries to the back of her head and classified the case as sudden death.
