Bodies of two men were found with their hands tied up and clear plastic bags on their faces in a boot of a grey Proton Waja car parked at south-bound Alor Pongsu rest and service area (R&R) here on Friday.

They were identified as Ting Liong Chin, 28, from Cheras and Seu Hong Chee, 19, from Kepong in Kuala Lumpur.

The bodies were found at 4.05pm after the R&R worker, who insisted anonymity, reported that there was a suspicious car parked at the R&R with flies and foul odour emanating from it.

"The car was locked and had been here since 7.30pm yesterday. I'm not sure who left it here, I just reported it to the police," he said.

The worker said the police had to break open the car window to open the boot before they found the two dead bodies.

Kerian police chief Supt Mat Fauzi Nayan, when contacted, confirmed the incident, saying that further investigation was being done.
