After being pressured by various parties, Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP) finally give in to provide 2,000 special tickets for children to watch the FA Cup final at Shah Alam Stadium on May 14.

FMLLP CEO Kevin Ramalingam said the matter was agreed by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) at its executive committee meeting at Wisma FAM in Kelana Jaya here, today.

Super League defending champions, Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) will be clashing with Premier League side, PKNS FC in the FA Cup final.

"The children ticket priced RM5 each will be distributed based on the distribution of adult tickets," he told reporters after the meeting.

FMLLP is a private entity set up to manage the Malaysian Foootball League starting this season.

The nod to provide children tickets was decided after receiving the advice of the FAM executive committee apart from public feedback.

Several parties including Sportswriters Association of Malaysia (SAM) president Ahmad Khawari Isa had questioned the absence of special tickets for children and students to watch the final.

Ramalingam advised parents who had bought tickets for the final to register their children aged between six and 12 to participate in the FA Cup Final Special Programme starting today via its website FMLLP;www.footballmalaysia.com.

"Only parents who had bought tickets to the final are allowed to register their children for the Special Programme," he said.

Under the programme, which also received the cooperation of FA Cup main sponsor, Superbest Power, 1,000 selected children would also be able to view to road to the final besides meeting players of both teams.

JDT entered the final after beating Kedah with 4-3 aggregate while PKNS FC beat Perak 4-3 aggregate in another semi-final on April 30.
