Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin was among the country’s 400 athletes who have passed the doping test required for participation in the 29th Southeast Asian Games and the 9th ASEAN Para Games or Kuala Lumpur 2017 (KL2017) next month.

This was confirmed by the Malaysian Anti-Doping Agency (ADAMAS) assistant director, Nishel Kumar.

ADAMAS has expressed relief that the awareness programme it started last year has been seeing some result, including the fact that none of the country’s athletes were tested positive for doping since January.

During the coming SEA Games, Khairy will be taking part in the polo sports event.
