Two Malaysian fighters, Ev Ting and Gianni Subba emerged victorious in last night's ONE Fighting Championship (ONE FC) bout when they defeated their opponents in two separate fights which mesmerised thousands of fight fans in Jakarta.

Subba, the nation's top flyweight mixed martial arts (MMA) prospect defeated wushu exponent, Ruel Catalan from the Philippines hence re-establishing himself after losing to another Filipino, Eugene Toquero in his previous bout.

Twenty-one-year-old Subba displayed his wrestling skills in the first round by taking Catalan down and advancing himself to the mount position, but Catalan quickly reversed the position to get on top.

Subba then attempted a triangle choke on Catalan, but could not finish his move as the bell sounded to end the first round.

With less than a minute remaining in the the first round, the 24-year-old Ting delivered some furious strikes towards Legowo that caused him to wobble before finishing the bout with two kicks that dropped the Indonesian veteran.

Meanwhile, national female MMA fighter, Ella Tang lost to Indonesia's first professional female mixed martial artist, Desi Rahayu.
