The Nilai Half Marathon 2016 on May 15 will have six categories, namely adult male, adult female, veteran male, veteran female, open adult male and adult female.

Nilai Municipal Council president, Datuk Abd Halim Abd Latif said the 21km run offers cash prize of RM1,500 and medal for the champion, RM1,200 and medal runner-up and RM800 and a medal for third place.

"The fourth to 10th place runners will each receive RM200 and a medal, while the 11th to 15th place will each receive RM100 and a medal," he said today.

Only the first 1,000 runners who completed the race will receive a medal.

Fifty electrical products await winners of a lucky draw.

Each runner is charged entry fee of RM50. The deadline is at 5pm on April 29.
