Over 2,000 T-Team fans were left fuming when tickets for tonight's Malaysia Cup semifinal second leg match between the east coast club and Selangor were sold out in 45 minutes.

Checks by Bernama at the venue, Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium here, found many fans still milling around despite the ticket counters having closed.

The counters had opened at 9.15am with 8,000 tickets to be sold to the general public.

A fan, Noor Fazhana Abd Wahab, 32, said she was extremely disappointed at not being able to get tickets after queuing up for almost an hour.

"My four siblings and I left Kemaman at 6.30am to get the tickets but are now empty-handed," she fumed.

The stadium can accommodate about 12,000 fans and tickets are also reserved for fans of the visiting team. T-Team have to overcome a 1-2 deficit in order to qualify for the final. -- Bernama
