Malaysia Cup champion Pahang sprang a surprise by defeating star-studded team, Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) 3-2 in the Super League match at Darul Makmur Stadium, Kuantan late Friday night.

Mohd Hafiz Kamal emerged as the Tok Gajah's hero when he headed the winning goal in the 92nd minute following a freekick by midfielder Azidan Sarudin.

Both teams were tied 2-2 with Pahang's goal were scored by Matias Conti in the 13th minute and Fauzi Roslan (47'), while the Southern Tigers' goals were netted by Pablo Aimar (45+2') and Mohd Safee Sali (72').

Sarawak moved to the top spot in the Super League after collecting three points by defeating Selangor PKNS FC 2-0 at Selayang Municipal Council Stadium.

The visiting team's goals were scored by Milorad Janjus in the ninth minute and Gabor Gyepes, seven minutes later.

Meanwhile, Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) retained the top spot in the Premier League after scoring a slim 1-0 win over Sabah at Petaling Jaya City Council in Kelana Jaya.

The goal scored by Sabre Abu in the 47th minute was enough for 'The Cops' coached by Dollah Salleh to retain top spot with nine points after three matches.

Negeri Sembilan also collected three points after defeating Felda United FC 2-1 at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi.

The 'Hoben Jang Hoben' squad's two goals were scored by Jean-Emmanuel Effa Owona in the 13th minute and S. Sivanesan in the 27th minute, while the visiting team's complimentary goal was netted by Indra Putra Mahayuddin in the 67th minute.

Three other teams - Pulau Pinang, SPA Putrajaya FC and Johor Darul Ta'zim II (JDT II) - also claimed a 1-0 win over their respective opponents.

Pulau Pinang defeated UiTM FC in their home turf through the goal scored by their Korean player Lee Gil Hoon in the 11th minute, while SPA Putrajaya FC disappointed DRB-Hicom FC through their French player Mickael Nicoise Joseph in the 33rd minute at the Hang Jebat Stadium in Melaka.

In Pasir Gudang, JDT II collected three points with the slim win over Perlis through See Kok Luen's goal in the 90th minute.

The match between Kedah and PBAPP FC, which was scheduled to be held at the Darul Aman Stadium in Alor Setar on Friday, however, was postponed as the stadium was used for the state government's special programme.
