Malaysia will take on Denmark in the 2016 Thomas Cup semifinals in Kunshan, China, with the match scheduled to begin at 7pm.

Malaysia made the semis after beating Taiwan 3-1, while second seeds Denmark advanced after a dramatic 3-2 win over defending champs Japan.

The biggest shock of the night though came when China, the hosts and tournament favourites, were beaten by South Korea, 3-1.

South Korea next face Indonesia, who beat Hong Kong 3-1 in another quarterfinal encounter.
