The heirs to two biggest corporate groups in Malaysia - Naza Group and Berjaya Group - has announced their engagement on Friday.

The son of the late Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin SM Amin is now engaged to the daughter of Tan Sri Vincent Tan.

SM Faliq SM Nasimuddin, 32, has proposed to Chryseis Tan, 29, while the two were on holiday in Marrakesh, Morocco, on June 30.

The lovebirds reportedly has known each other for a few years.

Faliq's father has established Naza Group of Companies in the late 80s and contributed to the development of the country's automotive, construction and real estate sector.

Chryseis's father on the other hand is a well known billionaire who has succeeded in establishing various kinds of businesses through his company.

The engagement was made public by Chryseis through her Instagram account, soon after the proposal.

Their wedding will not only be the symbol of unification between two billionaire families, but will also create the biggest conglomerate in Malaysia, should there be corporate integration between Naza Group and Berjaya Group.

Faliq is now the Deputy Executive President of Naza TTDI Sdn Bhd, while Chryseis is the Chief Executive Officer of Berjaya Times Square.
