MCA today likened the DAP to a Sdn Bhd (Private Limited Company) party that had failed to live up to the people's expectations.

Its president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said voters in constituencies dominated by the DAP could evaluate for themselves how much the party had achieved in terms of development or the people's welfare.

"Running from one constituency to another is his style (Lim Kit Siang) to avoid responsibilities. From Melaka to Ipoh then Johor," he said in referring to the DAP advisor.

"The people have seen the true face of Kit Siang and I have also described the DAP as an unprincipled party. We are more than aware that the DAP is like a Lim and Sons Sdn Bhd," he told a press conference after launching the Kawasaki Road Safety Campaign 2017 at the Sungai Besi Toll Plaza (southbound) here on Friday.

Liow was asked on the possibility of MCA wresting the Gelang Patah parliamentary consituency in Johor held by Kit Siang in the next election following the latter's announcement that he will not be defending the seat.

"This provides MCA a good opportunity. The people can compare the service provided by the MCA and the DAP. If their own advisor himself can run away from his responsibilities, what more needs to be said about the DAP," he said. -- BERNAMA
