Menurut Mirror.uk rakaman dramatik beruang kutub itu dilihat dalam keadaan tidak bermaya serta 'kepenatan' mengheret badannya mencari makanan di tong-tong sampah.

Situasi menyedihkan itu dirakam oleh jurugambar Paul Nicklen sambil mengalirkan air mata.

"Kami tergamam dan tanpa sengaja air mata jatuh ke pipi," katanya.

Pulau Baffin, Kanada yang merupakan kawasan lautan ais batu atau bongkah ais mencair akibat pemanasan global.

Malah, Nicklen juga akan terus merakam kesengsaraan dan kematian beruang secara perlahan selain menyakitkan itu serta menyiarkannya di media sosial sebagai bukti visual kesan perubahan iklim.

"Apabila para saintis mengatakan beruang kutub makin pupus, saya mahu orang ramai menyedari perkara ini juga berlaku. Beruang kutub akan mati kelaparan.

"Ini apa yang berlaku. Beruang kutub kelaparan," katanya.

Beruang kutub berasal dari Artik dan salah satu daripada punca kematian adalah disebabkan perubahan iklim.

Mereka bergantung kepada ais Artik untuk memburu anjing laut dan perkara itu semakin terancam akibat ais mencair.

"Hakikatnya mudah, jika bumi terus panas, kita pastinya akan kehilangan beruang kutub dan seluruh ekosistemnya," katanya.
