Doctors are now beginning to bring the Formula One legend, Michael Schumacher out of his medically induced coma since his skiing accident last month.

His manager Sabine Kahm said the medical team treating him has started reducing his sedation in order to wake him up.

Neurologist Jean-Luc Truelle said the process was done slowly in order to ensure no injury to Schumacher’s brain.

The pressure in his scull also need to be monitored by the medical team.

The team has also been reminded to return him to come should the effort fail.

Schumacher, 45, was injured when his head hit a rock while skiing at the Alps on December 29.
