The 25th Malaysian Film Festival (FFM25) wrapped up with Dain Said’s film, Bunohan bagging three ‘Anugerah Cipta’ trophies.

Among the awards won by the film include Best Art Structure for Dain Said, Best Sound Setup for Raja Ahmad Shahidaly and Best Original Musical Score for the late Tan Yan Wei.

Young director, Syafiq Yusof grabbed the Promising Director trophy through his film, SAM. For Best Short Film, Sanzaru, a production of Reservoir Production Sdn Bhd appeared as the winner and the Best Animated Film went to The One Academy’s Ninja Vs Pirate.

The Best Theme Song award was presented to Nurzaidi Abdul Rahman via the song, Ombak Rindu.

The opening ceremony for FFM25 took place at the eCurve, Mutiara Damansara last night.

The peak of the festival is scheduled to be held at Putrajaya International Convention Centre on March 2.

Astro RIA, Mustika HD and TV2 will be airing the show as the official channels.
