Indonesia's popular husband and wife artistes Irwansyah and Zaskia Sungkar were released today by the Indonesia's Anti- Narcotics Agency (BNN) due to absence of evidence they were on drugs.

Five other suspects, who were also detained with them during a drug party l at the residence of popular Indonesian artiste Raffi Ahmad in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta last weekend, were also freed today.

"Urine tests on Irwansyah and Zaskia were found negative. Witnesses also said they were not involved and no evidence was found to charge them," said BNN Chief Public Relations Officer Sumirat Dwiyanto at a press conference, here.

Zaskia said she and her husband and an assistant, went to Raffi's house on the night only to sign a business document.

Meanwhile, Irwanshah said in the three days they were detained, they were treated well and given excellent food.

The couple were among 17 detained in the raid, after the public tipped off the authorities about the drug party at Raffi's house.

To date, Raffi and another Indonesian artistem, Wanda Hamidah, who was also detained in the raid, are still undergoing investigation by BNN.

Five of the suspects were found positive on drugs while two others were suspected to have taken a new kind of drug.
