J.J. ABRAMS is developing a TV show based on a biographical novel about Michael Jackson.

After Star Wars and Star Trek, the producer will be bringing the last few months of MJ's life to the small screen in a TV adaptation of PBS host Tavis Smiley's book "Before You Judge Me: The Triumph and Tragedy of Michael Jackson's Last Days."

The book, described as a biographical novel, recounts the last 16 weeks of the pop star's life, and is due out this month.

There is no network attached to the series to date.

The book is also being adapted into a stage play.

Abrams' other TV projects include "Roadies" for Showtime and HBO's "Westworld."
