KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 2,000 job opportunities will be offered at the Career Carnival during the Central Zone MADANI Rakyat Programme from Feb 23-25 at the Kuala Selangor Sports Complex.

Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU) Strategic Programme senior assistant director Mohd Zammidi Mohd Asri, said the carnival, organised by the Ministry of Human Resources (KSM), aims to provide the public with suitable job opportunities.

"Attendees can immediately undergo interviews at the designated locations, and if successful, they will be offered a job on the spot," he said in an interview on Bernama Radio today.

Mohd Zammidi added that KSM will also offer advocacy and promotion programmes for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as a crucial element in the country's education system.

According to Mohd Zammidi, the MADANI Rakyat Programme is a continuation of the MADANI Government One Year Anniversary Programme aimed at disseminating the new policies and initiatives introduced by the Unity Government.

He added that the programme serves as a platform for the public to access information on federal and state government services and agencies, and allows them to share their feedback and suggestions to enhance service quality.

Mohd Zammidi anticipates 100,000 attendees over the three-day event and hopes that visitors would adhere to the authorities' instructions to ensure smooth traffic flow in the area.

The closing ceremony of the Central Zone MADANI Rakyat Programme will be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Feb 25.
