Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has brushed off threats made by a shaman Ibrahim Mat Zain who threatened to slap him "like a crocodile".

Khairy took to twitter and sent several tweets, including sharing a link to the video in which the threat was made.

In a YouTube video clip, Ibrahim expressed his anger of the Rembau MP's remarks.

"I will slap him like a crocodile, then he will know," Ibrahim said.

He had also threated to sue Khairy if he repeated his words.

Ibrahim made local and international headlines when he arrived at the KL International Airport (KLIA) claiming that he was invited to help locate the missing MH370 plane using a spiritual method and prayer.

Khairy had on Wednesday tweeted that ibrahim should be arrested for shaming the country with his antics.

MH370, a code share flight with China Southern Airlines, left KLIA for Beijing at 12:41am Saturday morning.

All communication with the plane was lost at 1:30am and no distress signal or call was received.

The flight had registered 239 passengers, 38 of them Malaysian. It was scheduled to arrive at Beijing International Airport at 6:30am.
