Plus Malaysia Berhad (PMB) will increase electronic lanes at the Batu Tiga and Sungai Rasau toll plazas to improve traffic flow at the two locations, beginning Tuesday.

In a statement here on Friday, PMB said a cash lane at both Batu Tiga and Sungai Rasau toll plazas (both directions) would be converted into electronic lanes.

"Members of the public are advised to switch to electronic toll payment system, by using PlusMiles and Touch'n Go cards with Smart Tag for a smoother journey at the toll plazas.

"PlusMiles cards can be obtained at the reloading lane operating at both plazas," it said.

In a different development, Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (Plus) said works on the fourth lane at several routes on its highways were currently entering the final phase.

The affected routes are the 13KM Rawang-Sungai Buloh, Shah Alam-Sungai Buloh (16km), Bukit Lanjan-Jalan Duta (7km) and Nilai North Interchange to Port Dickson (27km).

Plus will carry out tarring the final layer on these routes in stages, beginning Monday to year-end and several lanes will be closed in stages from time to time to facilitate works.

The first stage will involve closing the lanes from KM14 to KM9 which stretches from Subang to Shah Alam at the North Klang Valley Expressway from Monday.

Motorists using the route are advised to plan their journey and adhere to all signage provided by Plus as there could be traffic disruption at the location.
