Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Tuesday chaired the 119th meeting of menteris besar and chief ministers.

The meeting, held at the Perdana Putra Building, convened for about two hours from 10am and was also attended by several Cabinet ministers.

It was the third such meeting this year, following by the two held in February and June, aimed at streamlining the administration of the states and to discuss matters arising.

After the meeting, Muhyiddin witnessed the signing of a joint boundary agreement between Negeri Sembilan and Pahang and a Negeri Sembilan-Malacca memorandum of understanding and terms of reference on a boundary survey.

Negeri Sembilan and Pahang were represented by their respective menteris besar, namely Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob, and Malacca, by its chief minister, Datuk Seri Idris Haron.
