Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said today he would have an audience soon with the Sultan of Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, on the issue involving the menteri besar.

Najib also called on all quarters not to speculate on the matter, saying the Terengganu state government administration was functioning normally.

"I am scheduled to have an audience with the Sultan of Terengganu soon. I will issue a statement after that," he said here.

Najib, who is Barisan Nasional chairman, was asked to comment on the issue after he had accompanied Sarawak Chief Minister and state BN chairman Tan Sri

Adenan Satem who submitted his nomination papers to contest the Tanjung Datu seat in the state election on May 7.
