KUCHING: The Post-COVID-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030) introduced by the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) state government is a comprehensive strategy for the well-being of all Sarawakians.

Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) senior vice-president Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said PCDS 2020 covered all quarters.

"PCDS 2030 is very comprehensive with the main purpose of safeguarding the social well-being of our people, including the welfare of senior citizens.

"This will be reinforced with the GPS manifesto for the 15th General Election (GE15) to be announced later," he told reporters after attending the Senior Citizens' Day celebration here today.

PCDS 2030, launched in July last year, is an initiative towards making Sarawak a developed state by 2030 and providing high income to its people.

GPS is made up of PBB, Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP), Sarawak People's Party (PRS) and the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP).

The Election Commission (SPR) has set Nov 19 as polling day for GE15, while nomination is on Nov 5 and early voting on Nov 15.
