The pilot Work Voucher program under the supervision of the Ministry of Human Resources will see the participation of 100 urban poor participants. The RM35 daily assistance is open for individuals earning below RM3,000 is expected to help them face the current rise in the cost of living.

The aid, however, will only be given to applicants who are actively looking for part-time work.
