KUCHING: Two former federal ministers are among the 69 candidates to be fielded by Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) in the 12th Sarawak state election.

They are former Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Joseph Entulu Belaun who will be contesting in Tamin and former Works Minister Baru Bian in Ba'kelalan, which he won in the 2011 and 2016 state elections.

Apart from the two, PSB president Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh, who was former State Minister of International Trade and E-Commerce, as well as Second Finance Minister, will defend the Bawang Assan seat which he won on a Barisan Nasional (BN) ticket in 2016.

Former state assistant minister (Public Utilities and Agriculture) Datuk Sylvester Entri Muran will contest the Marudi seat, the constituency he once represented under BN.

Sri Aman member of parliament Datuk Masir Kujat, meanwhile, will contest in Balai Ringin.

PSB has also listed several former assemblymen to contest in the constituencies they once represented, namely Datuk Ranum Mina in Opar, See Chee How (Batu Lintang) and Dr Johnical Rayong Ngipa (Engkilili).

Former Lubuk Antu MP, Datuk William@Nyallau Badak, meanwhile will be fielded in Batang Air and Belaga assemblyman Stanley Ajang Batok will contest in Murum.

The Election Commission has set tomorrow for nominations, Dec 14 for early voting and Dec 18 for polling.
