The Malaysia government will ensure that no intruders in Lahad Datu, Sabah will escape. Instead, they would be shot dead or be captured alive and be tried according to the country's laws.

Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said they will also not be sent back to Philippines after killing eight Malaysian policemen in the most gruesome and inhumane way.

He also said there’s no laws of war or entries in the Geneva Convention that allows violent acts.

"Maybe they are influenced by drugs or black magic. We won't accept their merciless and inhumane acts," he said when to reporters here.

Zahid added that there are no signs of the intruders laying down their arms despite self-proclaimed 'Sultan' Jamalul Kiram III calling for a ceasefire.
