No announcement has yet to be made on the nominated line-up for the posts of vice-presidents, secretary general, treasurer-general and information chief of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).

The party was expected to make the announcement at its headquarters today, but has postponed it as its Central Leadership Council meeting had to be cancelled at the last minute.

According to a source within the party, the announcement will be made after the meeting is held after the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebrations.

“The line-up has already been decided but it cannot be announced yet because the meeting had been cancelled,” the source said when contacted here today.

The matter was also confirmed by one of the party’s vice-presidents, who said, it was mainly due to the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebrations which will be observed on Sunday.

“Nothing will be held at the party headquarters today,” the vice-president said.

A local news portal had previously reported the nominated line-up would be announced at 3pm today.

According to the report, the line-up will include several new faces, including those from Sabah and Sarawak, who will fill in top positions within the party.

The announcement follows the appointment of Mohamed Azmin Ali as the new Selangor Menteri Besar recently.

Currently PKR has seven vice-presidents, including four who had been elected during the recent party elections.

They include Nurul Izzah Anwar, Tian Chua, Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin and Rafizi Ramli.
