Some 14,000 online tickets have been sold since they were released yesterday morning for the second-leg of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2014 final between Malaysia and Thailand on Dec 20.

Football Association of Malaysia's (FAM) Tickets and Gates Committee chairman Datuk S. Sivasundram said fans could start redeeming their tickets at the Putra Bukit Jalil Stadium from 9am to 7pm on Wednesday.

"The online tickets were released at 9pm Sunday and as of Monday, we have sold some 14,000 of the 20,000 tickets allocated for online sales for the finals," he told reporters after attending the local organising committee meeting at the Wisma FAM, Monday.

The first-leg of the finals will be held at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok on Dec 17.

Meanwhile, he said the tickets for the second-leg finals would be sold at the counters at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium beginning Thursday, from 9am to 6pm until the kickoff this Saturday.

He said some 90,000 tickets had been allocated for the final's second-leg match at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, of which 2,500 of them would be reserved for Thailand supporters.
