Recently the Communications and Multimedia Content Forum of Malaysia released its self-regulation guidelines on online curated content. What does this mean for the industry and consumers? On this episode of #ConsiderThis Melisa Idris speaks to Mediha Mahmood, CEO of the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Content Forum. The Content Forum is an industry forum under the MCMC, to oversee and promote self-regulation of content over electronic networked mediums.

The fund is aimed at enhancing talent development, stimulating activities and innovation, and creating job opportunities, Fahmi Fadzil said.

The academy would give creators of the early stages of their creator journey the opportunity to learn from established peers locally.

The selected creators will be able to sell subscriptions for access to exclusive content, including live streams.

Zuckerberg said he hoped the metaverse will be a new ecosystem that will create millions of jobs for content creators.

MDEC said the disbursement indicates that its new grant framework is now completed and fully operational.

Content creators will soon be able to perform live streams with up to four people.

Advertisers are shifting more of their budgets from television to online as viewers have migrated to watching shows on smartphones and tablets.
