Landasan kereta api bertingkat Mexico runtuh, 13 maut

MEXICO CITY: Sebuah landasan kereta api bertingkat di bandar raya Mexico City runtuh pada Isnin malam.

Pihak berkuasa Mexico City memaklumkan seramai 13 orang maut manakala 70 yang lain cedera, lapor Reuters.

Rakaman video yang tular di media sosial menunjukkan gerabak kereta api tergantung di tengah landasan yang runtuh.

Sebuah lagi video diperoleh stesen televisyen Milenio TV menunjukkan landasan itu jatuh ke atas kenderaan di bawah.

Pasukan keselamatan termasuk bomba dan kru perubatan kecemasan kini berada di lokasi bagi mencari mangsa yang terselamat.

Datuk Bandar Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, memaklumkan beliau dalam perjalanan ke tempat kejadian.
