Between races, 2008 Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton is busy laying down tracks in a music studio in London. One of his first songs, "All Good Tonight," is said to be a heartfelt tribute to his ex-girlfriend, Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger.

The Mercedes driver, who currently stands at fourth position in the Formula One Driver's World Championship, has yet to release any music previews, but his Instagram page is full of photos from the studio. Considering Hamilton's well-known taste for rap music, some fans are surprised to see him pictured guitar in hand.

Lewis Hamilton is no stranger to the music business thanks to his five-year relationship with singer Nicole Scherzinger and close friendships with other musicians, notably Rihanna. The pilot has described the studio as a "refuge" where he can fully express the complicated emotions surrounding his latest heartbreaks.

Of course, the English pilot is not the first athlete to dabble in a music career. In fact, another former Formula One World Champion, Canadian pilot Jacques Villeneuve, released an album in 2007. Dubbed "Private Paradise," the record was a commercial flop.
