Malaysians keen in furthering literary studies in India could apply for the 2013 Dr. Ananda Coomaraswamy Fellowship to study at the prestigious Sahitya Academy.

The main aim of this Fellowship is to promote research on art, culture, literature, history, social sciences and others by Asian scholars.

According to a press release from the Indian High Commission here today, this Fellowship may be offered to a person of eminence in the field of Asian art, culture, literature and language studies every year.

Meanwhile, the Indian government is also facilitating the admission of self financing Malaysian students to limited number of reserved seats to take up medicine, dentistry, engineering and pharmacy.
