Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today refuted speculations in some Internet blogs that he was not healthy.

Speaking at the launch of the Exchange Traded Bonds and Sukuk (ETBS) on Bursa Malaysia Tuesday, Najib stressed that he was healthy and asked Malaysians not to listen to the rumours.

"Bursa Malaysia is healthy, the bond market is healthy, the sukuk market is healthy and I am also healthy. So, don't listen to the blogs, please," he said, as the audience applauded.

Speculation that the prime minister had suffered a minor stroke was rife over the weekend.

The prime minister's press secretary, Datuk Tengku Sharifuddin Tengku Ahmad, reportedly said yesterday that Najib was fine.

Najib had attended the monthly assembly of the Prime Minister's Department in Putrajaya yesterday morning.
