Pesanan 'Hari Ibu' melimpahi media sosial

Tidak kiralah ia disambut dengan meriah atau sederhana, namun Hari Ibu merupakan hari yang penting untuk kita semua mengingati pegorbanan seorang wanita untuk memberikan kehidupan yang selesa dan kebahagian untuk anak-anaknya.

Hari yang istimewa ini disambut pada Ahad kedua bulai Mei, termasuk masyarakat Malaysia.

Penyanyi Anding Indrawani antara yang terawal untuk kongsi gambar beliau bersama ibunya menerusi hashtag #501AwaniHappyMothersDay.

Beliau menjelaskan bahawa ibu beliau sedang bekerja di hari yang sepatutnya beliau diraikan.

"Dalam usianya, beliau sepatutnya pencen dan rehat. Tapi bukan beliau kerana kenyataanya beliau seorang 'workaholic'," kongsi Anding di Instagram.

My mom is a teacher..A dedicated teacher..I called my mom just now and she was driving.Heading somewhere to assists the students..That means,she's working right now..Working on a day when she was supposed to be celebrated.When at home,she has to nurse my father who is sick.And at her age,she was supposed to be retired and rest..But not her..Knowing the fact that she's a workaholic..So mamak,I just wanna say,please take care of your health and I will always pray that Allah will protect you here and here after..Happy Mother's Day Puan @juncyabdullah my sister @widya_zaini and all the mothers in this world..

Wartawan Astro AWANI Haider Yutim turut kongsi gambar beliau bersama ibunya Rahmah Mat Sab.

Ibu beliau meninggal dunia pada November tahun lepas.

Hi mak, just wanna say thank u soo much for all the things you've done for me since i was small. I still remember back when the day u sent me to kindergarten and waited for me there the whole day.. and i'd look to door to see if you're still there. Yup, u took care of me so well... and i really appreciated that and will never forget it for the rest of my life. And when it was my turn to take care of u, i never regret every single moment of it... carrying u around on your wheelchair, bringing u to breakfast, lunch n dinner, to the doctor... seriously, i would gladly repeat those moments if i was given the chance. But now you're in a better place.. although i really miss u badly. And i pray for u every day..... till we meet again. Al-Fatihah mak... and happy birthday and mother's day.
