Ewon was asked to comment on the current situation in Ranau district after it was hit by an earthquake of 5.9 magnitude on the Richter scale on June 5, last year which killed 18 people including four mountain guides who were on Mount Kinabalu at the time of the incident.

Today is the second anniversary of the tragedy.
