Actress and singer Jennifer Lopez will team up with Antonio Banderas and Martin Sheen, her co-stars in 2006's "Bordertown," for "The 33", a movie about one of the most reported-on events of 2010, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Jennifer Lopez will star in this movie by the Mexican-American producer Patricia Riggen ("La misma luna," 2007), alongside Antonio Banderas, Martin Sheen and Rodrigo Santoro.

Shooting this autumn, "The 33" will tell the story of the Chilean miners who were stuck in a mine for 69 days. Their ordeal and their rescue captivated television viewers around the world.
