KUALA LUMPUR:The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) today announced a transfer exercise involving 34 of its senior officers effective Nov 20.

Its Corporate Communication head Datuk Asmawati Ahmad, in a statement today, said the exercise involved, among others, Melaka police chief Datuk Mat Kasim Karim who will swap position with Bukit Aman Management Department deputy director (Administration) Datuk Abdul Majid Mohd Ali.

Meanwhile, Sarawak deputy police commissioner Datuk Dev Kumar M. M. Sree will replace Datuk Mohd Roze Shaari as Bukit Aman’s Criminal Investigation Department’s deputy director (Intelligence/ Operations), while Mohd Roze will be appointed as Kedah deputy police chief.

She said Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department deputy director (Special Operations) Datuk Fisol Salleh will assume his new post as Sarawak deputy police commissioner.

“Fisol will be replaced by Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department deputy director (General Operations Force or PGA) Datuk Mastor Mohd Ariff,” she said.

Meanwhile, Bukit Aman Management Department’s deputy director (Services/ Staffing) Datuk Kasuahdi Ali will assume his new post as Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department’s deputy director (PGA), Asmawati said.

She said that Kasuahdi’s post will be taken over by Bukit Aman Management Department deputy director (Human Resource Policy Division) Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim.

“Sarawak Criminal Investigation Department (CID) head SAC Denis Leong Soon Kai will be reporting for duty as Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID) deputy director (Enforcement/ Prevention/ General Policing).

“Leong will be replaced by Bukit Aman NCID deputy director (Enforcement/ Prevention/ General Policing) SAC Mat Zani @ Mohd Salahuddin Che Ali,” she said.
