The remains of Anthony Kevin Morais will be claimed by family members from the National Forensics Medical Institute, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, on Wednesday.

The public prosecutor's youngest brother, Datuk Richard Morais said his brother's remains would be taken to the Nirvana Memorial Park in Sungai Besi, here at about 10.30am on the same day for religious rites.

"The process of DNA testing has been completed and we are only waiting for the return of our elder brother, Charles Morais from the United States, who is expected to arrive tomorrow before claiming the body on Wednesday," he said when contacted by Bernama, here today.

He said Kevin's remains would be placed at the Nirvana for four days for people to pay their last respects.

Kevin was the Deputy Head of the Attorney General’s Chambers Appellate and Trial Division. His body was found in a drum filled with concrete in Subang Jaya, Selangor after one of the seven suspects took police to the location at Taman Perumahan USJ 1, Persiaran Subang Mewah.

Morais, 55, was reported missing on Sept 4 and the last time he was seen living his apartment at Menara Duta, Kuala Lumpur to go to his office in Putrajaya, driving a Proton Perdana car.

Seven men have so far been detained while police were tracking down two other men, M.Vishwanath, 24 and R. Dinishwaran, 22 to assist in the investigation.
