PAS spiritual leader Datuk Haron Din today rapped DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang for questioning the implementation of hudud law during his 'ceramah' (political talk) in Kelantan, the PAS-led state
which is seeking to implement the Islamic law.

Haron said Kit Siang should not have touched on the issue as the host had found his remarks 'quite disturbing'.

"Kelantan is a PAS' stronghold and the state in which the hudud law will be implemented.

"It is very immoral for anybody to enter a state and talk bad about the state in front of the people in the state," he told reporters after the launch of the 4th Darussyifa Lecture by Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob in Nilam Puri here today.

It was reported that during the talk, Kit Siang said Jordan and Egypt despite having over 90 per cent Muslim population, had yet to implement hudud.

As such, he said as a multi-racial country, all parties in the opposition pact should hold on to their mutual agreement.
