Two men have surrendered to the police to facilitate investigations into the so-called nude games which was allegedly held at the Teluk Kampi Beach in the Penang National Park.

The suspects comprising a 34-year-old local and a 41-year-old Singaporean were arrested when they turned up at the Southwest District police headquarters here.

Penang police chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi said the duo were remanded until Aug 17 and 18.

He said the Singaporean who worked as a freelance photographer surrendered on Wednesday, while the local who was a trader in Kuala Lumpur gave himself up yesterday.

He was speaking to reporters after attending a handing-over of duties ceremony involving Seberang Perai Selatan police chief ACP Shafien Mamat here today.

The so-called nude games was uncovered after a video titled, 'Nude Festival in Teluk Bahang, Penang' went viral on the internet, showing nine men and six women painting their bodies, dancing and performing sports-related activities in the nude at the Teluk Kampi beach.

Abdul Rahim said police investigations revealed that nine of the alleged participants also held other activities in the nude at a homestay in Bukit Genting, Balik Pulau, a day after their stay in Teluk Kampi.

"Based on the information we obtained, the nine held a nude festival at a durian orchard with a homestay, between May 31 and June 1.

"Some of them also took part in a three-day international nude festival in Pattaya, Thailand beginning June 6," he added.

He said the police had identified all 15 participants, comprising seven locals, four Singaporeans, two Myanmars, and one each from India and the Philippines.
