Sarawak Barisan Nasional (BN) Backbenchers Club chairman Abdullah Saidol gave the thumbs-up to the organiser of the Bersih 4 rally at Padang Song Kheng Hai here held over the weekend for keeping their promise on public order and peace.

He said Bandar Kuching MP Chong Chieng Jen had confidently said the anticipated crowd would be no less than 10,000 but noted the rally in Kuching met with cool reception.

Abdullah, who is also chief political secretary to Sarawak Chief Minister Adenan Satem claimed that many who gathered at the Song Kheng Hai Field over the last two days felt disappointed.
