PAS election director Dr Mohd Hatta Ramli today slammed Kuantan PAS Youth for allegedly accusing him of plotting, with some party committee members, to topple party president, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.

Mohd Hatta, who is also Kuala Krai member of Parliament, said Kuantan PAS Youth had failed to show any proof that he conspired with some of the party's committee members to overthrow Abdul Hadi.

"When the matter was being investigated and the Syura Council called me and the accuser...the accuser was not present and eventually the case was closed," he said in his winding-up speech at the party's Muktamar (annual assembly), here.

In February, Kuantan PAS Youth led by its chief Fadhli Ibrahim had called for Mohd Hatta's resignation for attempting to oust the president.

They claimed they had evidence in the form of a print-screen of the social messaging service WhatsApp group named 'Hawaii Five-O', receiving orders from Mohd Hatta to attack Abdul Hadi.
