His presence helped to push his teams standing to the top spot of the six-team league game with a total of 11 points, followed by Hyderabad Hotshots, also with 11 points.

Third position is held by Pune Pistons, with nine points.

Chong Wei delivered the maiden match point for his team, via the Mens Singles against Krrish Delhi Smashers player, Malaysias Daren Liew, 21-12, 21-16 and second point, via the Mens Doubles.

Chong Wei skipped the first two ties against Banga Beats that was held in New Delhi, and against Pune Pistons in Lucknow. The game against Delhi team was held at the Mumbai Sports Complex.
