Ann 'Athena' Osman is determined to come in strong and aggressive when she faces her opponent this Friday at ONE Fighting Championship (ONE FC), Roar Of Tigers.

The 28-year-old Sabahan lass will go against Egyptian kickboxer, Aya Saeid Saber.

This will be Ann's third fight in ONE FC, in which her previous fight saw her defeating former women's world boxing champion Ana Julaton.

Commenting on her opponent, Ann said she has high respect for Aya due to the latter's cage experience and skills.

But that doesn't lower her confidence level.

Ann 'Athena' Osman speaks to AWANI

"She's a well seasoned fighter. I have high respect for her because she's got more fights but that doesn't mean I don't feel confident coming into the fight," she told Astro AWANI.

Ann said, what separates her and her opponent is that she has a bigger determination to win.

"I've got that big drive to win especially being in Malaysia representing Malaysia, so yes I'm just going to come in strong and aggressive, and apply everything I've been learning for the past three years," she said.

Besides that, Ann said she will also make use of her experience fighting in amateur Muay Thai competitions and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu tournaments.

Asia’s largest mixed martial arts (MMA) organization, ONE FC is set to rock Putra Indoor Stadium again this Oct 17 with six Malaysian fighters confirmed in the fight card.

The event will feature a main event fight between two top featherweight fighters, Marat Gafurov and Rob Lisita.

Malaysia's very own Peter Davis will also meet Vaughn Donayre from the Philippines in the co-main event, as well as bout between another Malaysian fighter, Ev Ting against Edward Kelly also from the Philippines.
