KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) has sponsored Malaysia Airlines inflight products for frontliners and COVID-19 patients being quarantined at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park (MAEPS) Quarantine Centre in Serdang.

The inflight products consist of 3,500 sleeping masks and Dilmah teas.

Malaysia Airlines Berhad's (MAB) group chief operations officer, Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi said MAG continues to find ways to make the best use of its inflight products following its reduced schedule due to the pandemic.

"We are delighted to be able to contribute our inflight items that will now help frontliners and patients so that they have all they need during their quarantine," he said in a statement today.

The contribution was handed over by MAB head of corporate safety oversight, Datuk Dr Mohammad Razin Kamarulzaman to MAEPS director of COVID-19 low-risk quarantine and treatment centre, Dr Shahabuddin Ibrahim.

At the same time, MAG also donated over 50,000 hygiene items including toothbrushes and toothpaste to MAEPS Quarantine Centre that currently houses 5,000 COVID-19 patients.
