KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) will champion six main core agendas, multiracial involvement, women and youth empowerment, economic development, educational improvement and science and technological progress, to turn Malaysia into a developed country.

PBM information chief Zakaria Abdul Hamid said the party was not a party based on rhetorics but had aspirations to boost the quality of life for Malaysians regardless of religion, race or social status.

He also said that PBM as a party that supports the present government also agreed and is confident in the #KeluargaMalaysia concept introduced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

"PBM is a unifying medium to ensure that no Malaysian is left behind, whether from economic progress or social development," he said in a statement here today.

Yesterday, Julau MP Larry Sng was elected as PBM president for the 2021-2024 tearm at the party's extraordinary general meeting in Sibu, Sarawak.

Sng, who had held the party's deputy president post previously, said in a media conference yesterday that PBM was not a new political party but a local political party that changed its name from Sarawak Workers Party to become a national level party.
