All students of Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Sungai Besi Indah, Seri Kembangan, will move to a temporary premises after the school building was badly damaged due to construction activities nearby, threatening their safety.

Education Ministry secretary-general, Tan Sri Dr Madinah Mohamad said the distance from the temporary school to the original one is three kilometres.

"The reports from the MPSJ and the PWD Forensics Unit confirmed that all the school buildings are unsafe due to cracks and serious sinking in Block B, Block A, the canteen and areas around the TNB sub-station due to construction works for a luxury homes project near the school.

"The ministry feels that the safety and health of the students and teachers must be a priority as the housing construction works by the contractor has jeopardised the operations of the school," she said in a statement.
