The ‘Keadilan Raya’ team led PKR deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali has reportedly clinched the top position in the elections this time around.

According a PKR insider, up until this morning, Azmin who is defending his position managed to garner 15,724 or 46 percent of the votes.

His challenger, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim received 10,851 (32 percent) votes and another candidate Datuk Saifuddin Nasution received 7,609 (22 percent) votes.

For the Youth wing's post, Amirudin Shari garnered 3,098 (44 percent) votes, leaving his challengers Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad and Ahmad Yunus Nazree behind.

Nik Nazmi reportedly received 2 , 411 (34 percent) votes while Nazree received 1,610 (23 percent) votes.

'Keadilan Raya' team faced a strong competition for the PKR Wanita chief's post where incumbent Zuraida Kamaruddin defeated her competitor Rodziah Ismail by 62 votes.

Zuraida received 4,920 (51 percent) while Rodziah Ismail obtained 4,868 (49 percent) votes.

The PRK election for the 2014 – 2017 session was thrust under the spotlight after mayhem and fighting had caused 20 branches to suspend the polls only to hold a re-election again.
