The Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) gave assurance that repair works at Pangsapuri Beringin in Puchong will be completed this Sunday.

The works involve the repairing of sewerage pipes and strengthening the retaining wall of one the apartment blocks.

MPSJ deputy chairman Abdullah Marjunid reassured residents at the evacuation centres to move back to their homes.

In the incident on 25 March, an eight-metre cliff with the length of 50 metres was believed to collapse because of heavy rain.

This was the second time it happened after the first landslide on 19 February.

A total of 138 victims from 30 families have been moved to a nearby evacuation centres following the incident.
