KUALA LUMPUR:Former Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid said online teaching and learning (PdP) should have a flexible timetable.

He said this was to make it easier for parents who have many school-going children but lack gadgets and internet connection.

"With the flexible timetable, children could take turns to use the gadget.

"Teachers also need to provide standard modules for online teaching as well as adopt non-real time learning such as using Google Classroom and Telegram," he said in a statement yesterday.
