Seven bus routes in the Sungai Besi and Jalan Klang Lama corridors, which currently managed by Metrobus, will be taken over by Nadi Putra and RapidKL effective Feb 1.

The Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD), in a statement here on Friday, said the move was aimed at providing and ensuring better bus services for passengers in those demanding areas along these two corridors.

With the takeover, Nadi Putra buses will be operating along Route 521 from Dengkil to IOI Mall via Putrajaya/Cyberjaya; and Route 503 from IOI Mall Puchong to Dengkil via Pulau Meranti.

Meanwhile, RapidKL buses will be operating along Route 541 from Selangor Wholesale Market to IOI Mall, starting from Enggang Kinrara flats to Selangor Wholesale Market and ending atSerdang KTM station.

RapidKLbuses will also be operating along Route 671 (Enggang Kinrara flats to Central Market Hub) and Route T570 (UPM to Serdang KTM Station via Serdang Jaya).

Route T601 (Puchong Prima to Saujana Puchong), however, will be divided into two new routes to reduce waiting time, namely into Route 601 from Puchong Prima to Puchong Utama and Route 602 from Saujana Puchong to Puchong Utama, which will be managed by RapidKL.

RapidKLbuses will also be operating along Route 670 (PPR Muhibbah to Central Market Hub) and will be combined with Route 651 from Taman OUG to PPR Muhibbah and to end at the Central Market, the statement said.
